A dog causes many curious pedestrians to stop in their tracks as it helps its mistress to buy a newspaper every morning in Qionghai, Hainan Province.
The dog, named A Xiong, is seen carrying a bag in its mouth with a one yuan note inside as it trots about 300 m to a newspaper kiosk. The dog is given a newspaper and returns home to place it by the bedside of the mistress surnamed Hua. Hua, 30, said her dog also helps to take off her shoes and does other chores at home. Hua has raised the dog for two years, and has refused an offer of 1,000 yuan for it.
